Sorry, Thomas, I wasn't clear.
When you build, there is an option you should click for "Version." 5.0 and higher has automatic versioning. IOW, VFP Builds will keep track of each build's version number. If you turn that on, then each build (and EXE) will have a later version number. Thus, whenever you do an install of a rebuild EXE, it will overwrite the existing one. YOu don't have to worry about.
The install is actually doing something correctly--it doesn't see that the new EXE _is_ new--so it's not going to overwrite the one on disk.
