My reputation here as a flaming liberal is somewhat undeserved. I don't judge politicians (or judges) by litmus tests but by whether they make sense and seem competent. On some issues I am left of center, no question. But it isn't that simple

I don't think you're a flaming liberal. You are definitely left of center. I'm so far to the right (and there's a reason they call it "right") that I'll only eat the right-wing of a chicken. While I'm not positive, it would seem that William Kuhn is pretty far to the right as well (same with Marcia). And then we have some one here who try to talk a tough game of strength, but really waiver when the rubber meets the road.
