The US up then was a different place as it was for the last 8 years. I'd also remind you that with saying this you arrogantly insult all the other nations of the allied forces that have fought and lost lives on the european battlefield, the greatests sacrifies were made by the european and russian population. You also ignore that in WWI the american support was insignificant to its outcome. You also conviniently leave out that the US has helped hitler to build up its forces, stayed out of WWII until it was dragged into it by Pearl Harbor.
