Walter, I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous.

We're not out simply for revenge - we also want to stop having these nations as enemies in the future, such as we've succeeded in doing with West Germany/Germany, Italy, and Japan since 1945.

Also, the people who have been attacking us both before and after 9-11-01 are out for worldwide slaughter and tyranny as a result of their hoped for victories-a massive violation of everyone else's rights on the planet.

People who run roughshod over the rights of others can't claim any rights for themselves.

It's amazing, but not surprising for me, how certain Europeans are more willing to criticize us for trying to defend ourselves than they are of the Islamic radicals for trying to conquer and enslave the earth. Maybe someday if they ever get hit really hard by Islamic radicals in their own home countries they'll come running to us so we can defend them also.

Any nuclear bombs we might drop will be to smash the power of the Islamic radicals to wage such war on us - the stakes have become that high.
