Believe it or not, my 71 year old mom does this. :) She has an inexpensive hdmi tv/monitor that has multiple inputs. She has one hdmi cable from the laptop to the tv and another from the cablebox to the tv. She uses pip on the tv itself so she watch tv in a window on the monitor. Her pip is adjustable in size and location which is nice.

>Okay I misunderstood. I have that working now. I thought you might know how to do PIP from the tv tuner when using the HDMI monitor on the computer. I used to do that with my all-in-wonder card but the video went directly into the card so I was just watching computer tv in a window. (i can probably do that now as my current graphics card has tv input)

>I think what I'm trying to do requires the TV itself to have pip and for some reason that seems hard to find in LCDs. If the Samsung TOC doesn't have it, I'm sure it isn't common.

>>>So if I am using my HDTV as a monitor, I could run the TV input (to the TV, not to my graphics cards in the Pc) as a PIP window?
