My brother in law works over there. He's been asked to cut his rates by 3%, in the UK firms are being asked for 30% and more cuts in rates.

In the UK the boss of British Airways has said he will work a month for nothing and asking staff to do the same. He earns 70000 per month so I guess can afford it. Someone on 2000 a month will be budgeting every penny already. The people at the top never seem to get it do they.
