>OK, I've got a screen that is setup as a desktop. (This is for my touch screen application.) I have a class that will popup a keyboard to enter information - numeric values. However when I display it, my application disappears and it is the only screen visible. Once entry is complete, the calling form returns.
I'm in the process of creating a touchscreen component in an application and I went a different route. I created a keyboard class in a container and just drop the container on my form and set it to visible when I want the user to be able to type and hide it when I don't. I have a simple property for the container called oObjectToReceiveKeyboardOutput that tells the keyboard container where to send the typed text. This allows users to interact with the rest of the calling form while the keyboard is visible. A modal keyboard form does not allow this.
