At one place I worked for there was a guy who never bathed or washed his clothes. One day his manager came in smacked a box of detergent down on his desk and said don't come back in till you and your clothes are clean. People used to refuse to work in a confined space (like the room with all the terminals in) with him.

>Good questions. My only comment is that most businesses have a dress code that is enforced. Having one for city workers is not any different. Although, I've NEVER seen 'must wear underware' on any dress code at any company I've worked for :o) That's a crazy one!

>>And how are they going to enforce it? Who checks to see if everyone is wearing underware? Has all their piercings out? Not to mention the way the ACLU is going to come down on the town when someone gets fired for ignoring/breaking this 'rule'

>>>I haven't worked in an office in a long time, but this sort of thing used to drive me nuts. I'm so glad SOMEONE made a rule.

>>>I work at home using video conferencing almost all day long - and I still won't walk into my office in the morning without first taking a shower and getting dressed.
