Have you run into this problem with Novell servers?
The reason I asked, is I have the same application (without the mods) out there on a Novell server and the users have never complained about it losing records.
The only problems I have had with the Novell server are erroneous messages, like file is in use by another, has been changed by another...

The solution in all cases that I have seen this error, is to use the Microsoft client to log into the Novell network. (I tried using the latest Novell client to no avail.)
