Hello,

I need to create a web service with 3 simple functions that will query some VFP tables and return data to the caller. I am not responsible for the caller, only for the web services that will return the data to the caller. Can I do all of this using VFP only? Do I need Visual Studio? Or anything else? I have made a small amount of progress, and in my quest, I have seen reference to 'asmx' files but I don't see any of these in my VFP output. Will my web service work without this file? If not, how do I create it? Also, someone has told me that I need to incorporate the callers 'wsdl' file into my web service. Is this true? And how would I do this? I understand that I need to use the same field and function names that are in the wsdl, but is that not enough? Do I need to somehow 'attach' their wsdl file to my web service??

Thank you very much for all your help.
