They upgraded my account and I can use 2005 now, but I need to have tools to work with the data. I'm told the 2005 tools are quite different, no more Enterprise Manager and such. But there has to be something!

Not sure if this would be of any help, but you can download for free SQL Server 2008 Express with advanced services (it includes most of the tools).
