Dead from the cholesterol and sugar overdose of the Debby Boone version of the song that was played (seemed like) every hour on the hour on most pop radio stations of the time.

The song itself isn't bad, and I personally have no problem with Debby Boone (I actually have a lot of respect for her father), but that version was so sickeningly sweet and cheesy that it swiftly became overdone......REAL fast.
