>I actually meant my question seriously. If you are support request number 286, and you posted in response to my note to Robert about the protocol for posting UT support...I was wondering if you were proposing something? I guess, if there isn't much we can do for peer support on the forum (which is my suspicion), then following the protocol is still probably the best bet? Or maybe post a quick private note to one of the sysops when they're online...I dunno that is sanctioned < s >.

The number of items in list for the Universal Thread Navigator is now down to under a 100. Jose's original request was sent on the first day I was on vacation. As I'm the only one working on the Universal Thread Navigator, this request as well as others were delayed. When I came from vacation, I had to go through all the emails for a general look. Then, I got extremly sick for 10 days. This has extended the delay further more. To avoid a situation like this, one resource will be hired to be dedicated to the Universal Thread Navigator (fix current bugs, enhance the product, support the product). To avoid a situation like this in another aspect, I also hired another resource which is responsible to do a certain percentage of my tasks. This is also why we had to come up with a new policy such as new emails, new ways of doing things, etc.

The Universal Thread Navigator as already been adjusted a little bit to fix current bugs. That version has not been released yet. We are trying to make it more bullet proof and add a few important things before the release. This is going to be the first assignment for the new resource.

As for Jose's request, as I received some additional emails, I took a close look at it and forward it among the important requests so it was processed faster than expected. I was not able to find an answer to the situation. Even with the upcoming release, I can't be sure the bug will be resolved as I can't reproduce it. It is still in our list and will remain until we find the WHY and the WHAT to avoid it again.

This is the story of the Universal Thread Navigator. As in some other products, and I'm sure it has happened to most of us, when releasing a product, unexpected situations do happen. We try to adjust to any situation when time comes. Usually, we reply offline and this is there isn't much activity about talking about the Universal Thread Navigator online.

As for my current health status, it is almost recovered at 100%. I have to say it was the worst 10 days I ever spent.
