Does anybody know if there is a solution to the antialias problem when using transparent background on text (occurs with labels, checkboxes and radio buttons if transparent backgrounds are used)? Often can be seen when moving something over part of screen to force repainting -- the antialiased text progressively become "bolder" and "smudgy" with each successive repaint. There are a few workarounds I know of, though each has its own disadvantages:
* I know setting background to opaque circumvents the problem, though when you have themes enabled, screens end up looking rather ugly (forms and pageframes have gradients, but the text has a solid-color background that doesn't match). Turning off theme support definitely "fixes" this problem, though now I'm left with complaints that the application looks old-fashioned because of the "flat" appearance.
* The second workaround is to disable antialiasing -- something that I can do on my own machine, but it'll be like pulling teeth when you tell customer that that'll be the "fix" -- especially when they make the claim that "*only* your program has the problem" (not only that, but when you've got customers who frequently tend to fiddle with desktop settings or change desktop themes, antialiasing may get re-enabled and you're back to telling to turn it off).
