Bravo Obama!

>The cap and tax bill has bloated 300 extra pages overnight as congressional leaders attempt to offer enough goodies to entice the blue dogs to help pass the bill tomorrow. The CBO has released a completely bs report regarding it's impact which only cites family impact through 2020, prior to the major clamping down on emissions and in their own words does not take GDP losses into account. Now comes word that step 2 in this grand plan is to start a trade war with all countries who do not comply with the new standards this bill puts in place, starting with China.

>Not satisfied with destroying the US economy through a counter-intuitive energy policy based on a fake threat of extinction via a gas essential to life on this planet. Now we plan to ruin the rest of our economy by destroying free trade. They are literally looking to destroy the engine of western prosperity.

>This is beyond naive ideology and elitist power-mongering, this is outright stupidity.

>The fact that this has already been tried and failed in Europe in general (Kyoto protocols not met) and Spain in particular (http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=330735192284132) makes a good argument for insanity as does the upcoming attempt to Trojan horse in a government-only health plan, despite ample evidence against such an approach.

>We have already lost our private property, privacy, search and seizure rights, why not our right to breath? I don't think it's that much of a leap to go from repealing Constitutional rights to inalienable ones.

>To all elected officials who believe America has a right to exist I encourage you to delay, stall, fillibuster, do whatever needs to be done to get us to the next electoral cycle so we can correct this egregious error we the people have made, and possibly put some intelligence back into the chamber.
