>>>>>>>>>Aside from the accusations, he was a tremendous talent.

>>>>>>>>>I heard a rumor that he died from "Human Nature" <s>
>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>It's also been reported that he's donating his organs to children.
>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>Due to his untimely demise, his dates have been cancelled. They were Skippy, aged 6....and Jonathan, aged 9
>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>I can't say I feel much emotion for this, one way or the other - I guess he never really touched me when I was younger.
>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>Will he get 72 virgin little boys in heaven since he converted to Islam???
>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>I'm not a huge Michael Jackson fan. However, his talent is undeniable. He broke racial barriers. He did a lot for sick children. I don't know whether or not there was any substance to the accusations. It's expected to discuss the many news events surrounding his life. It's all a part of his life. However, you are not discussing them, you are making accusatory jokes about them. Your jokes above are innappropriate at this time, not to mention tasteless and immature.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>What seems odd to me is that, up until Wednesday, radio stations and tv were ignoring him. Yesterday and today litterally every news channel has pushed aside, Iran, North Korea, the economy etc etc to pay hommage with ongoing tributes.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>He'd been in the news here quite a lot because he was planning a series of concerts at the 02 arena in london. He's supposed to have sold close to 750000 tickets .
>>>>>
>>>>>Not since 911 or maybe the Indonesian Tsunami has the media leaped upon a story this hard. He's dead. Thank you. Now tell me the real news. This is nothing short of sensationalism for the sake of ratings and that is abhorent. He died. Many seem to be sorry he died and now let's hand him over to his family and leave them in peace.
>>>>
>>>>I agree completely. Had the same problem here when Princess Diana died. The media went completely over the top.
>>>
>>>The media only provide what the masses apparently wish to consume.
>>
>>I have serious doubts about what you're saying.
>>
>>When there is an enterprise that owns many medias (magazines, TV stations, newspapers...) they will decide what they want you to know. Keep the readers as stupid as possible. It's easier to control those that are not really informed about the IMPORTANT things.
>>
>>I was a bit dissapointed to see His death on the front page of my newspaper this morning. It would have made perfect sense in the art section but not on the first page of the main section.
>
>Never mind the front page. The Toronto Star had page after page dedicated to him. For Pete's sake, the guy was just a rock singer with a lot of major personal issues. He was not the "Second Coming".

Several pages in the Chicago Tribune as well. I was not a fan but he was pretty big.
