Hi Ed,
You still don't need macro - use name expression. Just try the code I posted - it should work and it assumes a variable inside SQLView.
Your error means that somehow you either trying to insert an empty row or didn't specify the KeyField.
Can you post your CA definition, please?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
