I do not recognize the 2007 code to be substantially different from what you posted in 2009 but will compare them more carefully. The problem I have experienced with the 2009 code is that I am unable to use references to this.oHook within the ApplicationEvents procedures. It generates errors and does not appear to be a handle to the Word application as I had expected it to be.
