I think that what you say could be indeed the reason why CB has been silent for such a long time and I hope that is the case. But, like Matt, I'm wondering why he just doesn't make a small blog entry to say that he's still "around". I guess we've all been spoiled by his past activities and this bit of down time is just unusual for us.
