hm. I missed the point that he means FORMS KEYPRESS. Then yess it would be expected behaviour. Especially if he assigns a access key something like
.caption = '\<Add New'
to the new button. In this case the standard behaviour of THISFORM Keypress (KEYPREVIEW=.t.) would be to call buttons click. (But then he wouldn't need the keypress anyway)
