Vernon,

This used to be called Visual dBase when Borland was still in charge of it. It's pretty much on par with VFP, it's been a long while since I looked at it, but there were a couple of things that were a real mindset change from the way the VFP OO model worked so I never seriously looked at using it for reak development.

>>I read your post as dBase III Plus, which is REALLY old. It was originally released in 1985. It's DOS only and has no web progamming ability. I have no knowledge of dBase Plus, but I would hesitat to go with a product from such a small company.

>>>Like I said I haven't used it - but just looking at the feature chart here http://www.dbase.com/dbpersChart.asp it seems like there are some advantages to it over VFP - like building webapps for example. Can you explain how VFP is superior when it comes to data-handling and programmability? Looks to me like pretty much the same things as VFP???

>Small company in comparison to who? MS? I'd agree but the product is worth trying :) Agreed?
