Google is assembling various pieces for doing a *lot* more than just browsing, within a browser e.g. the Google Native Client:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Native_ClientWhile that's currently for x86, maybe they could do something similar for ARM, or provide an emulator. Running x86 code on ARM - MS would have to be concerned about that.
