True - but the vfpskins program did work pretty well when I played with it - but I simply never really used it in a production application because I thought it gave my app a childish appearance.
You can actually use some of those 3rd party activex's to skin a VFP from (not the controls) - but then you have a whole other set of problems - like the fact activex controls are always on top - so yeah you have a nice skinned form - too bad you can't see any controls on it cause the activex-skin is always on top...ha...so only thing left is to use other activex controls for all the textboxes and other controls on the form. Needless to say it's just not worth it if you ask me.
...BUT like I said the vfpskins gizmo did work for me when I used it - if you want to pursue skinning I'd give it a shot if you can find it somewhere...
