So in following the naming convention that Microsoft has published I see it falls short of describing a naming convention for ASP.NET UI Controls - understandably so.

In a simple example, having a text box that would be used for a First Name can easily be named FirstName. But add a label and a required field validator that relate to First Name you can't really follow the guideline that Microsoft has published without adding a suffix.

Just curiuos, what would you do (or what are you doing) in a case like this?
