I managed my function to work by adding alltrim to month and year fuction
Also, I find out that using cmonth didt not return da char month number the the month number instead

mAhead = ctod( "01" + "/" + ALLTRIM(STR(MONTH(DATE()))) + "/" + ALLTRIM(STR(YEAR(DATE()))))
