John, one of the many disturbing possibilities with Obama is the notion of scaling back/calling off the profiling of radical Islamic fundamentalists here in the U.S.
It's already been established that monitoring of Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad was dropped , just a short time before he killed in Arkansas - what isn't known for a fact is whether the pressure to do so came from the White House.
Given the history of the Clintons not wanting to interfere with civil liberties and therefore scaling back on profiling, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the "dropping of the ball" on Muhammad could be traced all the way back to the White House. But the fact is that SOMEONE made a decision to stop watching him.
