I *think* that you will need to loop through the listbox to find the entry that matches what the user typed in the textbox and set the selected property for the listitem to .T.

Also, I you think about manipulating (selecting) the listbox rather than worrying about the record pointer underlyng the listbox.

For instance, if the value in the text box is 48 I want 48 to be highlighted in the list box so that if I only wanted to change the value in the text box by one in the series i.e. 50 from 48 I would only have to move the record pointer in the list box down one record rather than from the start of the list.
