I have a sub-class of an ASP.NET Button in which I am trying to include a public property that references a MultiView View object. However in the IDE designer properties window, when a View is selected from the IDE generated list of Views, I get an unhandled exception that "Cannot create an object of type '...View' from its string representation".

Has anyone seen this type of issue and what can be done to correct it?
