Naomi,

I would like to respectfully and kindly encourage you, that if you do not know an answer or solution to a question, that you not respond to it. Again, respectfully, you have no idea what I am trying to accomplish and whether my "OOP approach" is correct or not. I presented a specific sceanrio with a specific issue that I need resolved and you obviously have no idea of the cause or cure. That's fine, as no one can have all the answers to everything. But when you post reponses to questions that provide no useful information, others may see the original post has a response and pass it by when they might have a solution.

Respectfully, I have noted that you generate a lot of posts, but a significant number have no useful information in them to resolve the poster's issue.

>>I have a sub-class of an ASP.NET Button in which I am trying to include a public property that references a MultiView View object. However in the IDE designer properties window, when a View is selected from the IDE generated list of Views, I get an unhandled exception that "Cannot create an object of type '...View' from its string representation".
