If the House version of health reform passes you can kiss you're private care goodbye. Exactly as planned, exactly as I've been saying. It's all right there in the bill.

US Health Expenditures 2008 : ~2.4 trillion (rhetorically claimed to not include 50 million citizens)

Forecast Health Expenditures 2009 : ~2.6 trillion (rhetorically claimed to not include 50 million citizens)

Once again I ask that you do the math. The proposed legislation will force the population from private care into a government-only option in a short amount of time by destroying the market under which private care operates. This means that the federal government will be taking on a health cost which is double the amount of revenue it took in in 2008 receipts. No wealthy-only surcharge. No 1.5% VAT. No minor tax of any kind can make up that deficit. Not to mention the "50 million" more people whose costs are not accounted for, nor the increasing costs of care in future years.

Obama and the Dems are right, this is the single most important issue facing our nation. Our liberty and economic solvency are on the chopping block and Congress has their hand on the guillotine lever.
