That depends on the doctor -- my doctor has been using electronic records for a number of years now. Many doctors in US do use this as well. I would suggest having the record keeping as a separate module that could be purchased separately (but it is integrated with the whole). This way you can target your software to both types of users -- those that want scheduling only and those that want both.
