Depends on the type of application. If your application supports importing data from other applications, I might want to test this to see if your app can handle this. Also, I might want to test how your application handles large volumes of data. It really depends on the type of application. If the application, for instance, prints a lot of reports (invoices, accountant statements, etc.) then the demo application could use a fixed name and address and also print "DEMO" on every report. Makes them unusable in most cases.
