I going to try to define the problem be before explaining my question. I'm trying to print a report that has one record per page. The bottom of the detail band contains four memo fields one after another. With each memo field there is a label to the left explaining the contents of the field. The "Notes" label goes with the Notes memo and the "Remarks" goes with the remarks memo and so on. The problem is when the Notes memo exceeds one line it forces the next memo field to start with a blank line. It looks like the example below. I made sure the memo's were set to stretch with overflow and that the labels and fields are set to float. I'm sure I've done this before and don't remember any problems like this. Which leads me to my question. I can get around this by placing something like "NOTES: "+Alltrim(notes) in the report field. The problem is I need for the "NOTES: " portion to be bold and not the rest of the text. Any suggestions? I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here.
Notes: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
               XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Remarks:
               XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
TIA

Jeff
