Anyone who has had to deal with alcoholism knows that it needs to be called out immediately everytime. I've refrained in the past, but not anymore. Ignoring it (especially since he posted publicly about it here) is not helping him or his family.
We are in total agreement on this one. I lived with a man back in the 1980's who frank himself to death at the age of 42 and then turned around and married an alcoholic. That is the biggest reason (aside from my 3 devil stepchildren from hell) that I left him. I realized that I couldn't make him stop drinking. He had to do that for himself.
That is one reason that I can immediately spot when Mike has been drinking. I lived with the situation for many years.
