I'm the person who says that a surgeon or physician who makes close to a million or more has the RIGHT to keep what he/she earns.Question 1: Is the US the best place on earth to live?
Question 2: If so, why wouldn't you expect to pay more for the privilege of living there? As a citizen you may regard it as a "right" but surely "somebody" has to pay for it. If not you then who?
Question 3: If you don't want to pay more for it, why haven't you moved somewhere like Ireland where corporate tax is 15%? And why hasn't Dell and IBM and Microsoft etc etc moved their entire corporation over there to avoid the terrible tax burden being described now?
Just wondering.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
