Okay, perhaps I have new data to help pinpoint my problem. I have found that there are a few reports that open and close and accept changes normally. The greater majority of reports require around 22 seconds to open and 22 seconds to accept any changes. Occasionally I will open or try to run a report and it will crash and cause VFP to freeze. After closing VFP via ctrl-alt-del and re-opining the report I will find corruption in the method I have code in, the method is now filled mainly with little squares and some text from I don't know where.

I have reinstalled VFP9 in a way that I can try 3 variations of VFP9, and all have the same behavior.
