Yes, the SQL Server replication should make this all easier. Right now I'm considering these options:
1. something called SyncData-DBF which is supposed to synchronise DBFs in real time once connected
2. writing my own synchronisation using my audit trail files
3. converting to SQL Server
4. Microsost Sync Framework
I'm leaning towards number 2 as I think that is going to be the quickest way for me to get up and running (unless SyncData-DBF works really simply and well out of the box). I think in the long term I will look at the SQL Server conversion.
