This has to be a virus scanner on your computer... OK, let's try this... Can you rename your FRX to LBX files at the DOS prompt (not in Windows Explorer) and use MODIFY LABEL instead of MODIFY REPORT? Does this change anything?

Regarding the lost method code... If you open the FRT/LBT file in Notepad, do you see fragments of your code? If yes, do you still see them when you open the report in a BROWSE window?
