Hmm.. I kind of like this idea. But, I also wonder if something like this would just pi** me off if I was using a program for the first time. Something like this would definitely need to be tailered to the person. Maybe start out alphabetized, then reorganize to most-recently-used. BTW- the drop-down typeface selector in Word does something like this.
