Thanks Christof. That did what I want. Buuut I'd like to do something else. Until I can figure out how to do it I'll use your proposed solution.

Ultimately what I would like to do is to be able to call a phone number (I have a text field in my app that contains the phone number) there is a command button at the right of that text box. When that button is clicked I'd like to call that phone number with SkypeOut from my VFP app.

Did you ever do something like this or know someone that did this.

Can you help me a bit more on that problem?
