I guess we look at $749 differently; for a tool that slightly improves native VFP controls, that is expensive. Especially since few will use all the controls. We do use many 3rd party tools, i,e, Stonefield, and $749 is a lot.

$748 for 60 controls seems pretty reasonable to me <s>. Also, the DBI controls have a modern look - unlike the Microsoft ActiveX controls that make you application look old and dated.

I contacted tech support; they will speak with me if I buy a support contract for $199. I would have no problem with that, I just sort of worry that I'll do it and then it will be one of those "oh, that is not a bug" kinds of things. I figured if they gave the controls away they must have been popular, but I have found very few online folks that seem to be using them, based on here and the other main VFP forums.

This sounds very unlike them - I will see if I can dig up an e-mail address and see what's up...
