Not only that, The Canadian Senate has little power and it's members are appointed by the government in power, which I find to be quite disgusting. We should have the right to elect Senators and the Senate should have the power to cram any bill up Parliament's sphinctor or approve it.

And of course, neither of our countries really have democracies. We just elect party members who do what the party decides to do and we have to pay for whatever that happens to be.
