Yes. 2+3=5 would definitely be the preferred (mine was 3+4=7). The lower the score, the better the chance for cure.

From what I've read, Gleasons of 3+3=6 do very well. It's when one of the numbers (or both) gets to 4 or 5 that your choice(s) of treatment decreases, along with chance of cure.

Many specialists, also, will recommend that you submit the biopsy slides for a second opinion with an acknowledged expert in Prostate Cancer. These pathologists are listed on the acor site as well as prostatepointer.org.
