>Two questions:
>1. I’m just a private user of VFP for my own applications. I have VFP7.0 and am considering updating to VFP 9.0. Can anyone tell me if VFP programs will continue to run on later operating systems than Windows XP?
According to tests of members of this website, it is supposed to work in Vista and Windows 7. It may have some unusual /incorrect behavior in Vista. Most of the Vista problems are solved in VFP9 SP2.
>2. When I upgrade, do I need to keep the old VFP 7.0 as well as the 9.0 upgrade, should I need to install on a new computer?
You don't need to install VFP7 once you upgrade, but keep it close just in case.
