I understand. But, I've been using Win7 since last fall and have no stability issues.

But, getting back to the initial issue, I am just trying to be extra cautious, so to speak, by not putting all eggs in one basket (into Win Vista or Win 7). I want to have Win XP in a separate partition until I gain confidence in the Win 7 stability.
