I found Obama's comments in today's daily White House briefing interesting. He stated:

I think I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge police department .

Gave an impression? He stated it plain and simple that they acted stupidly and then he expounded on that comment. He didn't give an impression. He maligned the Cambridge police department with his own words. They couldn't be interpreted any different.

Saying that he could have 'calibrated his words differently' is just absolutely hilarious. That's an apology???????

Now if he had said Next time I'll refrain from commenting until all the facts are in, I'd have more respect.
