It's probably because of your hardware, usually video cards cause that because they are memory mapped. If you have a 64-bit capable processor, you can enable PAE mode but be warned = Vista runs slower with PAE enabled due to page translation. You will have to disable data execution prevention as well.
I'd do some research on it because I considered doing all that.
