In this case I think it you be the only way because I need to set the table path way by a variable,
instead of a literal path

data1Path = "c:\mysoftware\data1"
 
data2Path = "c:\mysoftware\data2"

Use (data2Path\table1.dbf)

Can you create cursor from table table1 similiar to the cursor in DE without having to specify fields ?
