I've been pretty happy with nod32- fast, accurate and tiny footprint.

I'm not really familiar with nod-32, but I've read a number of positive reports on it.

My in-laws got hit with one of those rogue anti-virus programs - jesus, what a mess those are! I've been rather fortunate....23 years in this business and only 4 incidents of "malware" to deal with, but this one was probably the most annoying. No punishment is too severe for people who create these things.
