Are you finding a benefit with DBs *just* from running 64-bit, or because they have extra RAM as well? They often go hand-in-hand. It would be interesting to see DB performance improvements going to 64-bit on a machine with, say, 3 or 4GB RAM.
As Thomas mentioned, if you are using databases larger than can be cached on a 32-bit system, then yes, by going 64-bit you can apply more RAM, and get improved performance. But again, I don't know how much of the improvement would be due to 64-bit vs. 32-bit code, per se.
